1530USB - Whining
«

The only sound I'm able to get out of this device is a high pitched whine. It occurs when the device is plugged in whether a 1530 is attached or not. Pushing play on the 1530 results in no change. I tried a Win10 and Win7 machines with same result. I'm pretty sure I hooked up everything right, check the vid below to see if the failing is on my end.

Hello Steve,
That whine sound is normal, turn down the microphone (READ) to level 2.
It seems like adapter is not making a good contact with the datasettes read pin.
Please check your connector to see if there is any bent ones.

I wiped and reinstalled everything and tried a two datasettes, a 1530 and old C2N, pins in both look fine. Unable to hear anything other than the buzz.
